Abstract

This study aims to assess the current state of corruption in Mongolia and its impact on the economy, focusing particularly on its effect on economic growth. Using an econometric model, the empirical analysis reveals that in the absence of corruption, Mongolia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) could increase by an average of 23%. The study also provides policy recommendations to enhance transparency in governance, ensure equitable distribution of natural resources, and strengthen anti-corruption measures.
