XVIII ЗУУНД ЭРДЭНЭ ЗУУ ХИЙДЭД ХИЙГДСЭН ИХ ЗАСВАР, ӨРГӨТГӨЛ, ШИНЭЧЛЭЛҮҮД

Abstract

In this article, we have aimed to clarify about repairs, extension and reforms of ErdeneZuu which were made in 18th century. We have found out these materials in the manuscripts related to the History of ErdeneZuu.
This big repairs were made in the beginning of the 18th century that was the period of Luvsan-Osor with the title of 3rdTsorj/ monk who oversees religious functions in a temple /.
After the main temple named ‘’Golzuu’’ of ErdeneZuu was built, there had been created more than 60 temples, 108 stupas and around 500 constructions.
While we have been finding out certainly about history of ErdeneZuufrom some manuscripts , these temple and stupas were repaired and extended regularly with somepietists’ offerings / believers/. Thus, we have aimed to clarifybased on some historical fats howErdeneZuu, Mongolian first center of Buddhism was repaired and extended.
