The Mongolian central region is played a significant role social-economy in our country with a high density population, intensive mining of natural resources. In this region to belong provinces Selenge, Darkhan-Uul,Tuv, Govisumber, Dundgovi and Umnugovi and capital city Ulaanbaatar.
For the natural zones of territory those provinces to belong in the central region subsistent from high mountain zone to Gobi desert zones transmitting multiple zones and for the surface combined forming high, medium and low mountains and largest river valleys and plain are a place with unique natural conditions. In the northern part of central region dominated high and medium mountains, in the central and the eastern area high mountain becomes lower transferred for surface morphology low mountains and plains of bottom an ancient lake.
