The journal “Mongolian Court and Legal Studies” published by the Academy of Judicial Training, Research and Information under the Supreme Court is an academic journal that aims to contribute to the implementation of the rule of law, the development of the judiciary, and the improvement of legal regulations by publishing and circulating research works by researchers and experts covering legal theory and practice.

Улсын дээд шүүхийн дэргэдэх Шүүхийн сургалт, судалгаа, мэдээллийн академийн эрхлэн гаргадаг “Монголын шүүх, эрх зүй судлал” сэтгүүл нь судлаач, мэргэжилтнүүдийн эрх зүйн онол, практикийн асуудлыг хамарсан судалгааны бүтээлийг нийтлэх, судалгааны эргэлтэд оруулах замаар хууль дээдлэх зарчмыг хэрэгжүүлэх, шүүх эрх мэдлийн салбарын хөгжил, эрх зүйн зохицуулалтыг боловсронгуй болгоход хувь нэмэр оруулах зорилго бүхий эрдэм шинжилгээний сэтгүүл юм.

The journal publishes types of manuscripts:
Mongolian Judicial and Legal Studies does NOT charge authors article submission fees and it does NOT charge article processing fees.
Mongolian Judicial and Legal Studies uses DOUBLE BLIND peer-review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. All submitted manuscripts are subjected to an intensive peer review in consultation with members of the journal’s editorial board and independent external referees (usually 2-3 reviewers).
Reviewers are asked to evaluate a manuscript for:
Reviewer reports with a decision from the Editor-in-Chief will be returned to the authors as soon as possible, but please be patient as reviewing can take up to 4-5 weeks.
After review, the Editor-in-Chief will make a decision of: reject, accept, or revise. Revisions may be major or minor. If a decision of revision is made, authors are asked to make their revisions as quickly as possible, up to 2 weeks. If there are extensive delays in revising an article then it may be considered a new submission. Revised articles may be sent out for copy-editing, depending on the level of revision requested.
The average duration of manuscript processing from submission to the final decision is 9-10 weeks.
The journal is published four volumes per year.

It is important to lay down standards of expected ethical behavior by all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, the publisher and the society-owned. This includes all parties treating each other with respect and dignity and without discrimination, harassment, bullying or retaliation.
The editor of a peer-reviewed journal is responsible for deciding which articles submitted to the journal should be published, and, moreover, is accountable for everything published in the journal. In making these decisions, the editor may be guided by the policies of the journal’s editorial board as well as by legal requirements regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism.

In cases of alleged or proven scientific misconduct, fraudulent publication or plagiarism the publisher, in close collaboration with the editors, will take all appropriate measures to clarify the situation and to amend the article in question. This includes the prompt publication of an erratum or, in the most severe cases, the complete retraction of the affected work
